Little Gransden airfield is located at Fuller's Hill Farm near Little Gransden village in Cambridgeshire, roughly half way between Bedford and Cambridge. Access is easy via the A1 or A428 roads. Unfortunately there are no public transport links to the airfield. If you are using a Sat Nav system, the postcode for the airfield is SG19 3BP.

just a reminder to all those planning to watch the show without buying a ticket.

•The organising team takes great care to ensure its air shows are as safe as possible for everyone involved.

• It is not safe to occupy the fields immediately surrounding the airfield, with the exception of accessing of public car parks, during the flying segment of the air show. If you do so you are putting yourself and the display pilots in harm’s way.

• In the event of an incident it is imperative that the emergency services have clear, unhindered access to the tracks across the surrounding land.

•We are aware of various public footpaths and byways in the area however there is no public access to the fields at any time.

We go to great lengths to ensure that any incidents with aircraft leave pilots with as many opportunities as possible to keep aircraft away from the public should a problem occur. Viewing the show from outside of the designated showground area negates this safety measure and in certain circumstances could cause the flying to be cancelled whilst areas are made safe.

Please play safe, buy a ticket and stay within our safety management plan provisions.

Thank You,
The LGAS organising team.

Car parks open at 08:30 - showground opens at 10:00

From the North

Take the A1 and then turn East onto the A428 at St. Neots. This is the second exit for St. Neots - ignore the first one. Stay in the right hand lane on the slip road as it approaches the roundabout (The Crown pub), and go straight over. After one mile you will come to a second roundabout (near Tescos), go straight over this one too, once again staying in the right hand lane on the approach. Continue on for 3 miles or so and straight over the next roundabout. After another 5 miles or so you will come to another roundabout (Caxton Gibbet services), turn right here onto the A1198. At the next roundabout turn left onto the Caxton bypass, continue on, turning right at the next roundabout (away from Cambourne). At the end of the bypass turn left at the roundabout continuing on the A1198. After a little over 2 miles take a right turn onto the B1046, (opposite the pink house) following signs for the Gransdens. After 2 miles you will see the entrance to the Cambridge Gliding club on your right, do not take this one! After 1.5 miles you need to turn left just before you reach Little Gransden village, this is a very sharp left turn. The airfield will be on your right approximately half a mile further on - the first entrance is for traders and vintage vehicles only. The public car parks are sign posted to the left and right depending on ground conditions on the day. Please follow the signage and marshalls directions and enter the first open car park that you come to unless you require disabled parking (Badge Holders only) which is situated by the south entrance to the show (Gamlingay end).

From the West

Having got to the A1 either follow directions for North (above) or South (below).

From the East

If arriving on the A14, stay on the road until it becomes the A428. From the M11, come off at junction 13 and turn left at the traffic lights to join the A1303 (signposted Madingley), proceed for two miles past the American Cemetery and at the next roundabout go straight over to join the A428. After around 8 miles from the A14 or 6 miles from the A1303 you will reach a roundabout (Caxton Gibbet services). Turn left here onto the A1198.

From the South

Take the A1 and turn East onto the B1042 for Sandy. Go towards the town centre and turn right at the roundabout to continue on the B1042 towards Potton. After a little over 3 miles you will be in the centre of Potton, now follow signs for Gamlingay and join the B1040. After a little under 3 miles you will be in the centre of Gamlingay, take a right into Church Street and follow the road out of the town for approximately 2 miles. The airfield will be on your left - the first entrance is to the public car park A and Disabled & VIP parking; another public car park B is on the right. For traders and vintage vehicle entrance, carry on for another half mile or so and the entrance is on your left.
