Little Gransden airfield is located at Fuller's Hill Farm near Little Gransden village in Cambridgeshire, roughly half way between Bedford and Cambridge. Access is easy via the A1 or A428 roads. Unfortunately there are no public transport links to the airfield.

Arriving by Air

We particularly welcome fly-in visitors but all arrivals are strictly PPR. There is no landing fee but a donation to Children in Need would be appreciated. All arrivals are to be on the ground by 12:45 and no departures will be permitted until after the display has finished. If you are flying in from outside the UK we can help with arranging accomodation - please ask for details when contacting us. For all PPR enquiries, please email Dave Poile MBE (or phone Dave on 07730 091132 - +44 7730 091132 from outside the UK). Airfield information is available here.

Arriving by Road

From the North

Take the A1 and then turn East onto the A428 at St. Neots. This is the second exit for St. Neots - ignore the first one. Stay in the right hand lane on the slip road as it approaches the roundabout, and go straight over. After one mile you will come to a second roundabout, go straight over this one too, once again staying in the right hand lane on the approach. Continue on for 2 miles or so and straight over the next roundabout. After another 5 miles or so you will come to another roundabout, turn right here onto the A1198. After a little over 3 miles take a right turn onto the B1046, following signs for the Gransdens. After 3.5 miles you will need to turn left just before you reach Little Gransden village, this is a sharp left turn. The airfield will be on your right approximately half a mile further on - this entrance is for traders and vintage vehicles only. The public car park is around another half mile further on, follow the road round the corner and the entrance to the car park is on your right.

From the West

Having got to the A1 either follow directions for North (above) or South (below).

From the East

If arriving on the A14, stay on the road until it becomes the A428. From the M11, come off at junction 13 and turn left at the traffic lights to join the A1303 (signposted Madingley), proceed for two miles and at the roundabout go straight over to join the A428. After around 3 miles from the A14 or 1 mile from the A1303 the road narrows to a single carriageway and you will come to a roundabout. Go straight over this and a further roundabout approximately a mile further on. Follow the A428 for a further 4 miles (there is a speed camera in the first mile or so) and then turn South at the roundabout onto the A1198.

From the South

Take the A1 and turn East onto the B1042 for Sandy. Go towards the town centre and turn right at the roundabout to continue on the B1042 towards Potton. After a little over 3 miles you will be in the centre of Potton, now follow signs for Gamlingay and join the B1040. After a little under 3 miles you will be in the centre of Gamlingay, take a right into Church Street and follow the road out of the town for approximately 2 miles. The airfield will be on your left - this entrance is to the public car park. For traders and vintage vehicle entrance, carry on for another half mile and the entrance is on your left.
