To see what vehicles are expected to be attending, please click here for the vehicle participation list! Photos from previous shows are available in the gallery. Bring your vehicle!Bookings for 2010 are now being taken - if you have already applied, you can check to see if your application has been processed by looking for your vehicle on the vehicle participation list, which also includes your arrival slot. You are invited to bring your Veteran/Vintage/Classic Car, Lorry, Tractor, PSV or Motorcycle to the event supporting the BBC Children in Need Appeal 2010. The event will include vintage and aerobatic flying displays, vintage/veteran/classic vehicle rally and numerous other attractions. Refreshments and bar will be available, as usual. Over £50,000 was collected at the 2009 event, thanks to the generosity of exhibitors and spectators, and we aim to make the 2010 event an even more successful fund raising event for all to enjoy. In 2010 we will once again be requiring a £5.00 entrance fee prepaid if possible or payable on the gate from all vehicle owners to go towards the cost of staging the flying display, and in turn, increase the net proceeds for the 2010 Children in Need Appeal. Application Form
Please note that this year due to Health & Safety considerations we are having to limit the number of vintage vehicles to 250 (not counting vintage motorbikes, ex-military vehicles or vintage/veteran commercials which will get different entry passes), and all vehicles need to be in position by 10:00 AM. If you arrive later you will be parked in the public car park - this is not negotiable! You may arrive from 8:00 AM; on the application form you will find a series of preferred time slots. This is to allow us to try and manage the entry of vehicles on to site and alleviate the traffic jams of past years. Please tick your preferred slot. We will confirm with your passes which slot you have been allocated. No vehicles will be permitted to move on the showground until the flying display has ceased at approximately 17:00 PM, with the exception of emergency vehicles. Sadly, in previous years, we have had some vehicle exhibitors get very rude with the stewards and some dubious emergencies! We do not expect a repetition of this, and anyone acting in this manner will never be invited along again. We regret having to take these measures however we must comply with the rules imposed on us if the event is to be allowed to take place. These restrictions are due to the high density of public we have compared to other shows of similar nature. We have everything except space! To the many of you that have supported us at Little Gransden over the years, THANK YOU very much and long may it continue! With kind regards, |
